Selon le Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) le potentiel technique th\u00e9orique estim\u00e9 pour la France concernant l\u2019\u00e9olien pos\u00e9 en mer est de <strong>169 GW<\/strong>. Pour l\u2019\u00e9olien flottant, le GWEC chiffre ce potentiel \u00e0 <strong>454 GW<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p><p>Pour d\u00e9velopper ce potentiel, le pays poss\u00e8de des atouts\u00a0:<\/p><ul><li>elle dispose d\u2019infrastructures portuaires nombreuses et favorables\u00a0;<\/li><li>elle pr\u00e9sente un tissu industriel dans des secteurs cl\u00e9s tels que la m\u00e9tallurgie, l\u2019a\u00e9ronautique et les chantiers navals\u00a0;<\/li><li>elle a d\u00e9j\u00e0 constitu\u00e9 un r\u00e9seau dense de sous-traitants pour l\u2019\u00e9olien terrestre et a initi\u00e9 ce recensement pour l\u2019\u00e9olien en mer.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-39d758a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"39d758a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h4><strong>L&rsquo;\u00e9olien pos\u00e9 en mer se d\u00e9veloppe<\/strong><\/h4>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-91dae53 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"91dae53\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Trois parcs \u00e9oliens en mer, totalisant une puissance de 1 476 MW, sont actuellement op\u00e9rationnels en France. Le parc de Saint-Nazaire, mis en service en 2022 avec une capacit\u00e9 de 480 MW, a initi\u00e9 l\u2019\u00e9olien offshore fran\u00e7ais. Au printemps 2024, un nouveau cap a \u00e9t\u00e9 franchi avec le raccordement des sites de F\u00e9camp et de Saint-Brieuc, offrant respectivement des puissances de 497 MW et 496 MW. La France poss\u00e8de depuis 2018 un site exp\u00e9rimental d\u2019\u00e9olien flottant en service et raccord\u00e9 au r\u00e9seau : le projet Floatgen d\u2019Ideol, qui comprend une \u00e9olienne de 2 MW install\u00e9e sur le site de l\u2019\u00e9cole Centrale de Nantes, en Pays de la Loire. De plus, deux autres sites pilotes sont en service en M\u00e9diterran\u00e9e (Golfe de Lion pour 30 MW et le parc de Provence \u2013 Grand Large pour 25 MW). Un dernier (Eolmed \u2013 30 MW), toujours en m\u00e9diterran\u00e9e, devrait entrer en service en 2025. Le premier objectif devrait logiquement atteint gr\u00e2ce aux projets en chantier issus des premiers appels d\u2019offres (AO). <strong>En revanche, l\u2019objectif 2035 n\u00e9cessitera la r\u00e9ussite d\u2019un tr\u00e8s ambitieux AO 10 attendu pour 2025 et qui devrait porter sur 8 \u00e0 10 GW.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9fffcb6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9fffcb6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>A plus long terme,\u00a0l\u2019\u00c9tat a donn\u00e9 une vision \u00e0 la fili\u00e8re \u00e0 travers le\u00a0<strong>Pacte pour l&rsquo;\u00e9olien en mer<\/strong>\u00a0sign\u00e9 en mars 2022. L&rsquo;\u00c9tat s&rsquo;est engag\u00e9 autour de plusieurs \u00e9ch\u00e9ances :<\/p><p><a
